Guardianship Issues

Guardianship issues go further than day to day issues: think of guardianship as the umbrella of issues of overriding importance for a child.

Decisions involving more holistic concepts such as a child’s place of residence, schooling, medical welfare and religion are guardianship decisions.

Where a child’s guardians (usually their parents) cannot agree on a guardianship issue an application to the Family Court may be appropriate. We can take you through the process.
